Jug Face is Chad Crawford Kinkle's debut feature-length film and I have to admit, he broke out into the genre with a more than worthy offering. Just when you think this is another hillbilly, backwoods-slasher film (a la Wrong Turn part 17), Crawford slaps us in the face with an incredibly clever, strange and memorable film.
The pit choose a potter to make a face in the form of a jug. Thus...Jug Face. Whoever’s face is made into a jug, that person is sacrificed by getting their throat slit and their blood running down to feed the pit. If someone finds their jug and hides it, the pit gets mad and starts havoc on the others. It’s a good movie.
